Lovely idea for a bridal shower

I am always scouring the internet for inspiration and new fun ideas. When I came across these great pictures I was amazed at how creative it was. An Alice in Wonderland theme tea party would be perfect for a bridal shower. It is so fun! I love the mixture of the formal elements for a high tea, but at the same time infusing it with a casual elegance. There are so many creative details in this event. I love the stacked tea cups for the centerpiece, as well as the use of aprons for chair covers. I think it shows how important small details are in making an event really cohesive and special.

Amazing engagement video shoot

One of my best friends is making her way down the aisle very soon. She and her future hubby are getting married in Ashville, NC and recently had engagement pictures taken. Their photographers Peak Definition also took a video of the shoot. I wanted to share it with everyone. It is amazing!

Inspiration Board # 3: Earthy take on lavender & tiffany blue

The majority of inspiration boards for lavender or tiffany blue all have a very traditional vibe. I wanted to dream up a wedding that was less structured and had an earthy feel to it. An event that is very beautiful but, relaxed. An event that could take place in any meadow or on the outskirts of any wooded area. I think this board is complete euphoria!

Inspiration Board #2: Rustic Vintage Elegance

Once I saw the picture of the magnificent bride and groom I knew I had to do an inspiration board around them. I love the overall rustic vibe, from the quirky textures of the different fabrics of their attire, to the lanterns, and earthy color scheme. I think I’m in love!

Inspiration Board #1: Anemones, Love them!

I just recently came across these flowers and I am absolutely smitten. I can just imagine them for a black and white wedding but, what is so fabulous about these flowers is they come in so many great colors. I decided to do this board with manly white and pink anemones. Enjoy!

Let It Rain!

Since it has been doing nothing but raining the past three weeks I was curious as to how brides deal with rain on there big day. I found these great pictures that show no bride will let a little rain ruin their big day.

You can’t change the weather no matter how hard you’d like to be able to. Instead think about how to make your wedding more memorable because of the rain.

I know that you probably spent a fortune and hours on your bridal shoes, but keep them for the indoor part of your wedding. Instead find some fun and funky rain boots to wear outside

And just think, without the rain you can't have amazing picture like these.
